Setting Up the Data Expected List

The Data Expected List is a summary of the data you are collecting. Each item listed correlates to one or more NDA Data Structures. You must provide the Target Enrollment numbers, Initial Submission dates, and Initial Share dates when you set up your Data Expected List.

Accessing Your Data Expected List

You can access the Data Expected List on your NDA Collection homepage by clicking the "Data Expected" tab.

To make edits to your Data Expected List:

  1. Log in to your NDA account.
  2. Ensure you have admin permissions. The Principal Investigator (PI) can assign admin permissions to others if needed.

Sections of the Data Expected List

The Data Expected List is divided into two main sections:

  • Mandatory Data Structures: These pre-populated structures are required for data submission as outlined in the Data Sharing Terms and Conditions.
  • Data Structures per Research Aims: These are specific to your research study and you need to manually add them to your Data Expected List.

Timeline for Populating Your Data Expected List

You must populate your Data Expected List within six months of your grant award date. This ensures you meet your Initial Submission deadline and remain compliant with NDA requirements. You can still make updates to your Data Expected List after this initial period, including changes to the Initial Share Dates.
